The Marrickville Public School Rock Band has been running for 3 years and features students from Kindy to Year 6. Some members have been learning their instrument for many years, while others may have picked up theirs at their first rehearsal. Everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary!

REVERSE REVOLUTION is a band of three tweens who live and breathe punk rock, with Deon Aldridge-Chow (11) on drums and vocals, Axel Teoh (12) on vocals and guitar, and Owen McEvoy (11) on lead guitar. With a mix of high-energy original hits and pop-punk covers by the likes of Green Day, Foo Fighters and Blink-182, the boys are guaranteed to have you singing along!

Gem is a 20-year-old artist from Sydney who fuses the raw power of rock with the elegance of the orchestra. Inspired by legends like Pink Floyd, Elton John, and Hans Zimmer, he has been self-taught since the age of 3. Forming a dynamic medley of progressive rock, symphonic piano epics and experimental sounds.

The Marrickville High school Rock Band Program are a misfit crew of YR7 -12 High school age students with one thing in common, a dedication to rock. Giving up their lunch break at school to rehearse with the guidance of local musician Dylan Hartas they have achieved what many just dream of, a cohesive, tight and powerful rock band, with enough energy to light up any stage.

The Silver Foxes are the Sydney-based duo of Anousheh St Germain and Josh Shipton that improvise on classic Middle Eastern tunes as well as protest songs. Their fusion of Persian melodies and bass sounds aims to lead listeners on a meditative journey of peace and fury.
