Household chemical and e-waste drop off

Australians produce more than 106,000 tonnes of electronic waste each year and most of it ends up in landfills where it has the potential to contaminate soil and water. Electronic waste, such as computers and televisions also contain valuable non-renewable resources and substances that are hazardous to human health.

Inner West Council provides regular drop-off days for residents so e-waste can be recycled and unwanted chemicals can be disposed of safely.

Please note that different items are accepted at our different locations. Dangerous goods and items not listed below under each drop off site will not be accepted.
