New Inner West Council business award

Thursday 10 June 2021

Council’s inaugural Aboriginal Business of the Year award will be presented at the 2021 Inner West Business Awards.

The award will recognise local Indigenous business and enterprises in the Inner West local government area.

The award joins the Ethical / Social Enterprise award introduced by Inner West Council in 2019.

That award recognises the efforts of businesses who improve the social and economic wellbeing of people in our community who are marginalised or disadvantaged. It focuses on the contribution of social and ethical enterprises to creating a better economy and a fairer community.

Nominations for the 2021 Inner West Local Business Awards are now open, closing Thursday 8 July.

Winners will be announced on Monday 18 October at Le Montage in Lilyfield.

There are 29 business categories, ranging from favourite automotive services to specialised retail business.

The Inner West Local Business Awards are made possible by the ongoing support of Major Partners Inner West Council, NOVA Employment and Big Clean and Support Partners Strathfield Council, Burwood Council, Burwood Plaza, Bx Networking, Majors Bay Road Chamber of Commerce and White Key Marketing. The awards are organised by Precedent Productions.
