Women in Business mentor program

Monday, 20 January 2020

Inner West Council is now taking applications for the second Women in Business Mentor Program.

The program was developed last year as a way to encourage and assist local women who want to launch or grow their businesses.

The program combines:

• interactive business workshops
• group mentoring
• one on one mentoring

Participants have access to four different business mentors over the course of the program.

Silvana completed the inaugural program in 2019. “The program has helped me obtain a clearer direction on how to drive myself and my business beyond the growth stage,” she said.

Michelle also did the program last year. “After participating in the program I was able to employ three staff part time, with two of them now in a full-time position in my business.

“The Women in Business program was intense and empowering,” Michelle said.

The program is delivered over a three month period and costs $500 (inc GST).

The 2020 program applications close on Tuesday, 25 February at 5pm.
