life inside life at Chrissie Cotter Gallery

An exhibition of sculpture, ceramics and drawings inspired by actual tidal zones is the next to feature at Council’s Chrissie Cotter Gallery.

life inside life features the work of two Sydney artists concerned with exploring the human role within a network of ecosystems.

Kassandra Bossell’s work focuses on the sea wall at Blackwattle Bay, which was formerly a saltwater mangrove swamp.

Her sculptural wall works are created from found objects, wax, concrete, timber and carbon.

Carol Hudson uses the inter-tidal zone as a metaphor for connection and disconnection to nature.

Her drawings, sculpture, installations and ceramics arouse a desire for closer relationships with nature.
