Solar Assessment February
Residents of Inner West Council can access free, bespoke advice about installing solar PV on their property. The advice is independent and impartial and FREE. All attendees must not only register but also call 9519 6366 or email angela.mayer@greenlivingcentre.org.au to book a 45 minute timeslot with the solar expert.

Comfort proof your home for summer
Find out how to stay cool this summer by making simple, low cost changes at home. Whether you own or rent a house or apartment, our sustainable design expert will help you understand the areas of greatest energy usage in the summer months, general principles of passive cooling, and practical ways to increase shading and prevent hot air getting in.

Movie Night @Green Living Centre – Bees
The first in a new series of Green Living Centre movie nights, featuring free movies and documentaries about current environmental issues. Bring your own pillow or bean bag and join us for a relaxing evening. First film is all about bees.

Thursday 23rd February, 7pm – 9pm

Worm Farming
Convert kitchen scraps to garden gold at this workshop about how to set up and maintain a worm farm at home. Worm farming is easy, contributes to reducing waste for a low carbon lifestyle and brings us closer to the natural cycles of life. Participants can purchase their own worm farm and compost worms after the workshop from the Green Living Centre.
