Changing the size of the garbage (red lid) bin usually requires an adjustment to your domestic waste management charge. However, at the Council meeting held on 20th of February 2024, it was resolved that the additional cost would be waived for up to two years.
This applies to residents living in houses with fortnightly garbage collection, who require an upsize to assist with the transition to FOGO (food and garden organics) recycling.
