My service is shaped by a strong commitment to inclusive education. Within the Family Day Care setting, I create an environment where children of different ages, genders and social backgrounds learn to value diversity and practise tolerance through supportive interactions and meaningful partnerships.

I hold a Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood Education and have sixteen years of experience working in early childhood settings across Australia. This background gives me a solid foundation in child development and high quality practice. I believe children learn best when they are genuinely interested and engaged, which is why their interests guide our programming. Learning is designed to be fun, relevant and meaningful for each child and their family.

At Chiquito’s, children are encouraged to take the lead. They initiate projects, explore their own investigations and engage in collaborative play with their peers. The daily routine is flexible and responsive, ensuring the unique needs of each child are supported.

Family involvement is central to my approach. I value the insights families bring and actively seek their input to strengthen our shared understanding of each child. Regular communication and collaboration help create an inclusive, supportive learning community.

I also offer educational excursions that broaden children’s experiences and deepen their learning. Families are encouraged to join these outings, building stronger relationships and shared memories.

Together, we support each child on a holistic and inclusive learning journey where their interests, interactions and partnerships are nurtured, respected and celebrated.
