About Our Service

Our core values at May Murray Early Learning Centre:

  • Encouraging respect for First Nations ways of knowing and being, including weekly Dharawal language lessons.
  • Supporting all children and families to feel accepted and valued for who they are through an anti-bias curriculum.
  • Providing and implementing a professional and quality program that meets the needs of each child.
  • Empowering children to recognise their rights and responsibilities as engaged community members.
  • Building strong relationships with children, families and communities to support each child’s unique context.
  • Connecting children to the natural environment and taking pride in our outdoor learning on the Cooks River: the Dharaggangal or ‘people of the river’ program.
  • Using a neurodiversity-affirming lens when developing all aspects of our program.
