Debbie and Abbey Borgia Recreation Centre

The Debbie and Abbey Borgia Community Recreation Centre is an indoor sport and recreation centre. The Centre is available by groups and members of the general public for activities such as basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, pickleball, dance and meetings.

The Centre was named after Debbie and Abbey Borgia, mother and daughter, local residents who passed away in the Bali bombings in 2002.

The centre is managed on behalf of Inner West Council by PCYC NSW.

Three indoor sports courts catering for:

  • Basketball
  • Netball
  • Indoor soccer
  • Futsal
  • Badminton
  • Volleyball
  • Pickleball

Two multi-purpose rooms and six meeting rooms

How to get here

Debbie and Abbey Borgia Recreation Centre is located at 531 Illawarra Rd, Marrickville, 2204.

Car - parking is available behind the Centre. Entry to the carpark is off Illawarra Road

Bus - there are two bus stops right outside the Centre - Illawarra Rd opposite Wallace St and Illawarra Rd at Wallace St. Use routes 423 and 423X

Train - Marrickville train station is located 1km from the Centre
