Richard Murden Reserve is a busy, family‑friendly park offering sports courts, picnic areas, and the new Gulgadya inclusive playground for the whole community to enjoy.

Richard Murden Reserve is a busy park with many different activities available including netball, tennis and multi purpose courts. The new Gulgadya inclusive playground is now open. No bookings are required. 

The playground and surrounding picnic tables within and outside of the fenced area cannot be booked – they are available to be used by the public on a shared basis.

The netball, tennis and multi-purpose courts are available for the use and enjoyment of the community.

All 6 netball courts and the multi-purpose courts are not available for public use between 4pm and 9pm from 1 March to 30 September, due to sporting club seasonal hire bookings. The multi-purpose court lighting comes on automatically all year. The 6 netball courts lighting are available and operated by the seasonal hiring netball clubs for their training needs al year.

Except as stated above, the multi-purpose courts are available for free casual use from 8am to 10pm, no booking required. Play is limited to 1 hour while others are waiting.

Tennis courts are available for free casual use from 8am to 10pm, no booking required. Play is limited to 1 hour while others are waiting.
