50m pool unavailable Saturday 28 March from 3pm to 7pm
Due to a scheduled event at Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre, the 50m pool will be unavailable from 3pm to 7pm on Saturday 28 March. Lap and recreational swimming will be available in the dive pool from 3pm to 4pm and again from 5pm to 7pm. Between 4pm and 5pm, lap and recreation swimming will be limited to the indoor pools only.

Facilities
Surrounded by the beautiful bushland of Iron Cove Bay, Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre is a hidden gem well worth a visit. With a wide range of programs, pools, and health and fitness amenities, the centre offers something for everyone, whether you’re here to train, relax, or enjoy time with family.
Leisure swimming is available throughout all opening hours, though the location of the leisure lane may change depending on scheduled programs. Our friendly team is always happy to point you in the right direction and help you make the most of your visit.

The gym floor offers a wide range of gym equipment, from cardo machines, to pin loaded machines and free weights. There is also a small open space area for stretching.

The 50m pool is 7 lanes wide with a variable depth from 1.1m to 1.8m. It is equipped with an accessible pool hoist and heated all year round.

The Hydrotherapy pool is a warm water pool with a gradual sloped depth from 0.9m to 1.2m, it is 18m x 10m or 3 lanes wide and 18m long. It has ramp access and a state-of-the-art filtration and heating systems.
Priority/walking lane is available in the hydro pool Monday to Sunday from 6am to 8pm. The Priority Lane is a walking only lane; no lap swimming in the Priority Lane.
Please note access to the spa jets in the hydro pool will not be available during the following times:
Monday to Friday: 3.30 to 6.30pm
Saturday: 8am to 12.30pm
Sunday: 8am to 1.30pm

The indoor program pool is 4 lanes wide and 18m long with a variable depth from 0.9m to 1.3m. This pool is used for our Learn to Swim programs as well as aqua classes.

The indoor toddlers pool is located next to the indoor program pool and has a gradual slope from 0.4m to 0.9m, spa jets and waterspout.
The mushroom pool is a seasonal outdoor pool that opens for the summer season from October through to April.

Saturday and Sunday: 9am to 5pm
Our mushroom pool is a family favourite, designed especially for young children to splash, play, and build water confidence in a safe and welcoming space. The pool features a zero‑depth, accessible beach‑style entry that gently grades down to a maximum depth of 0.9 metres, making it perfect for all ages and abilities.
At the centre of the fun is our iconic mushroom water feature, creating a gentle curtain of water for kids to explore. Around the pool you’ll also find additional interactive water features that keep little swimmers entertained and engaged throughout their visit.
The splash pad is seasonal feature that operates for the summer season from October through to April.

Our Splash Pad is a colourful and interactive water play area designed for children of all ages. With water jets, tipping buckets, and plenty of space to explore, it’s the perfect place for little ones to cool off, move their bodies, and enjoy water play at their own pace. The splash pad is fully accessible, pram‑friendly, and thoughtfully designed with non-slip surfaces and shaded seating so families can relax while staying close to the action.
The dive pool is 6 lanes wide and 18m long with a variable depth from 3.0m to 4.9m and heated all year round.
Please note this pool is used for programs only and is only available for lap or recreation swimming on Saturday mornings during swim club season.

Our crèche provides quality care for children aged 8 weeks to 6 years for a maximum of two hours while you're at the centre, giving members and patrons the freedom to focus on their health and fitness goals knowing their little ones are safe and happy with our professional and friendly childcare team.

Take a break at our café, where you’ll find a variety of hot and cold light bites perfect for refuelling after a workout. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a quick bite to eat, or visit the café area to unwind with a freshly brewed coffee and a newspaper.
In addition to lighter options, the café also serves hot meals and offers a wide range of other food and drink choices to suit every taste. Whether you're after something quick or a more filling meal, we've got you covered.

The main building has large male and female change areas which are equipped with lockers available free of charge for use by the public.
The indoor program pool area has four open showers located behind the toddler pool. There is one family accessible change room in the indoor pool space.
The hydro pool area has two accessible change rooms with an accessible shower, low height wheelchair toilet and wash areas.
The gym has its own male and female change rooms, with separate accessible change rooms.
You are responsible for your personal belongings at all times. For your convenience, we encourage you to secure any valuables in the lockers located in the gym and swim changerooms. These lockers are free to use, simply set a pin code and make a note of your locker number.
The male and female change rooms on both the pool deck and in the gym have security lockers available free of charge for use by the public.
