Birchgrove Park

A historic waterfront sports ground and community park.

Birchgrove Oval is located on the waterfront of Sydney Harbour.

It was one of the first publicly developed parks in Sydney and is one of our premier sports and recreation venues. It is regarded as the spiritual home of rugby league in Australia because it hosted the first professional match in 1908.
