Fanny Durack Aquatic Centre is a fully accessible open air pool located in the tranquil surrounds of Petersham Park.

25m pool

The main pool at the centre is an eight lane 25m pool with ramp access.

Toddler pool

The toddler pool features a fully accessible sloping beach entry, with shade cloth and pool gate access.

Splash pad

The splash pad with soft fall flooring is open 7 days a week from 9am to 5.30pm.

BBQ area hire request form

The centre features a BBQ area with covered table a seating area, surrounded by grassy lawn perfect for picnic blankets.

The BBQ at Fanny Durack Aquatic Centre is available, free of charge, for small gatherings on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

If you have an event that you would like to host at Fanny Durack Aquatic Centre, you can request to book the BBQ from 2 hours up to 4 hours.

1 block – 2 hours - $55.00
2 blocks – 4 hours - $110.00

This hire includes the BBQ, undercover table and seating.

BBQ hire requests must be approved by management.
BBQ hire must be paid 24 hours before the date of hire.
BBQ hire cancellations must be made 24 hours before the date of hire. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the hire date will forfeit the hire fee.
BBQ hire fees are non-refundable (natural events such as weather do not guarantee refund).
Entry fees will be charged at reception for each guest on the day.

We ask all visitors to be considerate when others are waiting their turn by clearing the space in a timely manner once they have cleaned the barbecue thoroughly.

Change rooms

Male and female change rooms are available at the site, which include lockers free of charge. A family and accessible change room is also located within the centre. Baby change facilities are available in the female and family change rooms.

Accessibility

Fanny Durack Aquatic Centre is fully accessible, with ramp access to both the 25m pool, toddler pool, splash pad, and BBQ area. An accessible change room is also located at the centre in close proximity to the 25m pool ramp entry. 'Wet wheelchairs' are available for use.

Accessible parking is located on Station Street at the entrance to Petersham Park.

Cafe

A cafe is located at the entrance to the centre, please note this is not operated by Council.
