The Disability Support Grants program provides multi-year funding for projects that make a lasting impact, improving access to recreation, arts, employment, and community life. These grants help create inclusive spaces and opportunities for people with disability to thrive.

2025–2027 Disability Support (1 or 2 year) Grants

Projects being delivered during 2025 - 2027:

Project: Gig Buddies Inner West
Funding: $20,000
Impact: Pairing adults with disability and volunteers to attend local events together, fostering friendships and community participation.

Project: Auslan Interpretation for Live Music Theatre
Funding: $20,000
Impact: Providing Auslan interpretation for theatre performances to make arts accessible for Deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences.

Project: SpeakUp Program in Inner West Schools
Funding: $9,800
Impact: Supporting students with disability to build confidence and skills through a strengths-based program delivered in local schools.

Project: Canvas of Cultures
Funding: $5,000
Impact: Visual arts workshops for people with disability, offering creative expression through painting, sculpture, and collage in accessible venues.

Project: Unseen, Unheard, Unstoppable – Youth-Led Arts Exhibition
Funding: $5,000
Impact: Empowering young people with disability through creative workshops and a public exhibition showcasing diverse voices during Youth Week.
