Join us for a morning tea and cultural walk along the GreenWay on Wednesday 10 June from 10:30am to 12pm at GreenWay Gadigal Reserve – Cockatoo Sculpture Park, Summer Hill.

The session will include a slow, guided cultural walk led by D’harawal Saltwater Knowledge Keeper Shannon Foster and Team Leader of Urban Ecology, Adam Ward. The walk (approximately 800metres - 1km) will explore local stories of Country and place.

Morning tea will be served from 11:00am at Cockatoo Sculpture Park, with time for further conversation and discussion.

A free community bus will be available, with pickup and dropoff at Balmain Library, Marrickville Library and Ashfield Town Hall.

If you would like to travel on the bus, please indicate this when registering.

Our community buses offer low-floor entry; however, they are not fully accessible for all mobility needs. This outing involves getting on and off the bus and some light walking. It is best suited to people who can move independently without physical assistance. If you use a wheelchair or need help to board or move around safely, this experience may not be the right fit unless you are accompanied by a support person.

A Note on Support
Our drivers are unable to assist passengers physically. Anyone requiring support must attend with their own carer or companion, who is responsible for their care throughout the activity.

We’re always happy to chat about individual needs — please reach out before booking if you’re unsure.

Registrations essential as spots are limited. If you need assistance booking please call 9392 5863 and leave a message.
