Marrickville Nights

Marrickville's Purple Flag accreditation means it is officially recognised as a vibrant, diverse and well-managed night-time precinct.
Eat, drink and play.

Marrickville is proud to have Purple Flag accreditation. Which means we are officially recognised as a vibrant, diverse and well-managed night-time precinct.

Marrickville's traditional streets and warehouses are home to breweries, theatres, restaurants, pubs, clubs and uber cool wine bars.

The restaurants are fun, playful and reinvent the cuisines that have shaped the area with two major eat streets, Illawarra Road and Marrickville Road bringing together some of the best Vietnamese, Filipino and Greek food in Sydney.

Marrickville has more breweries and distilleries than any other suburb in the country, with open doors for you to try their brews and tour the tanks. As well as the breweries and distilleries, Marrickville has a vibrant and lively pub and bar scene.

After all, there’s a reason why Time Out named Marrickville "one of the coolest suburbs on Earth". Spend a night here and you’ll understand why life gets livelier in Marrickville.
