Review of the NSW Disability Inclusion Act

NSW Department of Communities and Justice (formally FACS) are reviewing the Disability Inclusion Act 2014. Feedback is due before 30 March 2020.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

The NDIS Website provides information about the National National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with disability

Currently there is a a Federal Government Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Exploitation and Neglect of People with Disability. It has started and will run for three years. Their final report is due 29 April 2022. Visit the royal commission website to make a submission

People with Disability Australia (PWDA) have a Disability Royal Commission Hub that has lots of information about the Royal Commission. PWDA is a national disability rights, advocacy and representative organisation that is made up of, led and governed by people with disability.

Public Toilet Map

The Toilet Map provides information on over 16,000 publicly available toilets across Australia, including accessibility, opening hours and facilities, such as showers & baby change.
