Inner West Open Studio Trail
13-14 and 20-21 May 2017, 11-5pm
Over 100 studios, galleries and ARIs (Artist Run Initiatives) open their doors over two weekends in May for the Inner West Open Studio Trail. Join the trail to see artists at work in their creative spaces.
Following artist consultation, in 2017 the former Leichhardt and Marrickville Open Studio Trails (LOST and MOST) have been combined into one event and expanded into the Ashfield area.

The event occurs over two weekends with four feature days (13-14 and 20-21 May), and will showcasing four different precincts. Join the trail to see the best that Inner West has to offer in its many creative strongholds.
Yellow Precinct - visit studios and galleries in the suburbs of Balmain, Rozelle and Lilyfield.
Saturday 13 May, 11-5pm
Magenta Precinct - visit studios and galleries in the suburbs of Leichhardt and Annandale.
Sunday 14 May, 11-5pm
Blue Precinct - visit studios and galleries in the suburbs of Ashfield, Croydon, Summer Hill, Lewisham, Petersham, Stanmore, Enmore, Newtown, and Camperdown.
Saturday 20 May, 11-5pm
Green Precinct - visit studios and galleries in the suburbs of Marrickville, Sydenham and St Peters.
Sunday 21 May, 11-5pm
IWOST Related Events
During IWOST, there are tours, workshops, artist talks, and other creatively configured events for you to enjoy. Even before the first trail commences on Saturday 13 May, there are few "Early Openers" for you to enjoy.

An art competition and exhibition - this year's theme is GROW. Presented by Annandale Village Church and supported by Inner West Council and local business.
Canal Road Film Studios Tour - Friday 12 May, 10, 11, & 1pm.This hidden, largely unknown, 3.5hectre site on Hawthorne Canal is the operational base for a number of technicians, artisans and other practitioners in the feature and documentary film industry. It is also the production base for much of the quality Australian television drama production seen on our screens today. Here is an opportunity to gain some insight into this world with a "taster" tour of some unique aspects of the art of film and television making. Bookings essential and places are limited.
