First Inner West Summer Fest

Council’s first Inner West Summer Fest is on Saturday 8 February in Enmore Park.

Celebrating summer in the Inner West, Summer Fest is a family friendly and fun event featuring circus skills workshops, giant games, side show performances and lots of live music.

Everyone’s invited to bring a picnic and enjoy:

  • Beeswax & Bottlecaps - variety and vaudeville energetic, fun and colourful pop-up performance
  • Stiff Gins - Nardi Simpson and Kaleena Briggs Indigenous music act, whose stunning harmonies and wicked humour transports to world of joy, spirit and song
  • A giant raffle with all proceeds going to the RFS and communities devastated by the recent bushfires. Major prizes include the Enmore Theatre Golden Ticket (a 12 month double pass to unlimited shows at the venue), a VIP Sydney FC experience for 10 people, and a signed West Tigers jersey
  • Green Mohair Suits - toe-tapping covers and spine-tingling choral perfection
  • A second stage, featuring local acts Los Monaros, Wahoo Ghost, The Subterraneans and Latina Dance Group, Juventud
  • Erth Roving Shows amazing prehistoric creatures: cute, life-like baby dinos and mischievous Turongs
  • Circusworks’ ‘Circus Playground’ interactive workshops for juggling, stilts, spinning and balancing, all under supervision of instructors
  • Reuse Maker Space hosted by Reverse Garbage where reusing materials in innovative, useful and creative ways will be showcased
  • Summer Screen Printing – make a summer-inspired festival bag as a take home gift
  • Lunar New Year wishing tree, lantern-making and colouring-in station, hosted by Community and Cultural Connections Inc. and members of the local Vietnamese community
    Marrickville Metro’s ‘Make Your Own Antipasto Platter’ workshop, partnering with Panetta Mercato
  • St Vincent de Paul Society, Rozelle will attend and collect donations for their bushfire appeal

Inner West Summer Fest will also host a sausage sizzle, kombucha stand and ice-cream van.
