Free ‘Preparing for Winter’ information sessions

Inner West Council, with Our Energy Future and Green Living Centre, is hosting two free ‘Preparing for Winter’ information sessions. Attendees will go in a draw to win a free Home Energy Assessment valued at $300. 

The sessions will help Inner West residents save money, improve the comfort of their home, and heat smarter. 

The sessions will also address how solar works, and its effectiveness in winter. 

‘Preparing for Winter’ information session 1:

Ashfield Civic Centre 
Thursday, 3 May, 6pm-8pm.

The Our Energy Future experts will identify the three key action areas to help stay cosy this winter without it costing the earth. Attendees will learn simple and cheap ways to improve the comfort of their home, the cheapest and most effective way of heating, and how solar works in winter and can help reduce energy bills.

Whether renting or owning, attendees will work with a sustainable design expert to understand the areas of greatest energy usage in winter months, and general principles of passive heating, insulating and draught-proofing.
