Worm farming workshop
Convert kitchen scraps to garden gold by setting up and maintaining a worm farm at home. Worm farming is easy, contributes to reducing waste for a low carbon lifestyle and connects us with the natural cycles of life.
Participants can purchase a worm farm and worms after the workshop.

Stay cool this summer by making simple, low cost changes at home. Whether you own or rent, our sustainable design expert will explain the areas of greatest energy usage in the summer months, general principles of passive cooling, and practical ways to increase shading and prevent hot air getting in.

Solar assessment
Residents of Newtown (postcodes 2042 and 2043) can obtain bespoke advice about installing solar PV on their property. Advice is independent, impartial and FREE. As well as booking a place, you must call 9519 6366 or email angela.mayer@greenlivingcentre.org.au to book a 45 minute session.

Avoid bill shock. Come to an Energy Basics workshop. Learn how to understand your energy bill, how to choose an energy supplier, or make decisions on the perfect green energy plan. Bring a current energy bill.
