It’s Christmas time at the Green Living Centre in Newtown!

Get festive this year without leaving an environmental footprint the size of the North Pole, and make your own Christmas cards, Christmas wrap, and Christmas wreath.

As well, there’s the usual free environmentally healthy and sustainable workshops and talks.

Pest Prevention for Organic Gardeners Workshop
This workshop follows on from the No Dig Gardening and Seasonal Planting workshops, and is aimed at people with previous gardening experience.

Make your own Christmas cards
Got the Christmas present but not the card? At this session with Reverse Garbage, beautiful Christmas cards will be made out of reused materials.

Reject consumerism this Christmas, and make a sustainable, recyclable Christmas wreath.

Solar Assessment December
Residents of Newtown (postcodes 2042 and 2043) can obtain bespoke advice about installing solar PV on their property. Advice is independent, impartial and FREE. As well as booking a place, call 9519 6366 or email angela.mayer@greenlivingcentre.org.au to book a 45 minute one-on-one session.
