The cycling festival for all ages that is Big Bike Day will again feature free workshops and events at War Memorial Park in Leichhardt from 11am to 2pm on Sunday 23 September.

Delicious food, live entertainment, a wide range of market stalls and fun for kids – it’s all happening at this year’s Dulwich Hill Village Fair on Sunday 16 September, 10am – 4pm.

Inner West Council has endorsed a draft Multicultural Policy which will ensure equity of access to Council services and decision-making, as well as developing initiatives that support and celebrate the Inner West’s cultural diversity. 

Coffee lovers can rejoice after Council last night voted to support an investigation into a pilot reusable coffee cup scheme in the Inner West.

In a bid to reduce the amount of food waste going into landfill, Council has voted to explore ways to expand and harmonise its food organics recycling programs across the Inner West.

The 2017 footprints ecofestival is a day of live entertainment, free workshops and hands-on environment-themed experiences, plus a large option of food and drink choices – including this year, a Craft Beer Garden.
