Get your hands dirty and be part of our group effort to improve biodiversity in the Inner West!

National Tree Day is an opportunity to plant local native species, grown with the help of volunteers. This year's planting event will increase habitat corridors for local native fauna along the river by restoring an area of Estuarine Swamp Oak Forest. Featuring a unique assemblage of plants that make up this floodplain community and show you what Country you are on.

No experience is necessary as all training, tools, and on-site supervision are provided. Please bring/wear; water bottle, hat, sunscreen, long-sleeve shirt, long pants and closed sturdy shoes.

Family friendly event - all ages welcome!

Three separate tree planting sessions will be running on the day. Please register for your preferred session time.

If you are a group of more than 10, please email urbanecology@innerwest.nsw.gov.au before registering.
