The GreenWay Masterplan sets out a 10‑year vision to transform the GreenWay corridor into an integrated ecological, cultural and active‑transport route. It guides $57 million in landscaping and infrastructure works to enhance recreation, connectivity and environmental outcomes along the corridor.
The GreenWay Masterplan was adopted by Inner West Council on 14 August 2018. Its aim is to:
- guide the delivery of landscaping and infrastructure within the GreenWay corridor over the next 10 years
- establishes the GreenWay as an integrated ecological and active transport corridor for a range of passive and active recreation opportunities
- incorporate local places for culture and art
The Masterplan includes proposals for $57 million of works to be implemented over the long term.
Additional works outlined in the Masterplan will be delivered in a staged approach over the next 10 years.
