The White’s Creek Cottage Studio Space Program is rent free reflecting Council’s commitment to supporting a vibrant local creative sector. The program helps address the growing shortage of affordable creative development workspaces across Sydney, where artists increasingly face challenges accessing and retaining spaces to develop new work.
Located in a unique parkland setting, the program provides dedicated studio space for artists and creative practitioners to experiment, create, strengthen their professional practice and contribute to the cultural life of the Inner West.
The space lends itself to a range of creative practices, with sustainability forming part of its broader context and surroundings. The cottage is situated within the White Creek Valley Park green corridor, alongside the community gardens and orchard.
