Thirning Villa Creative Spaces

Thirning Villa is a historic, restored Victorian-style building located in Pratten Park, Ashfield, providing a dedicated space for artists participating in the program.

Ashfield is a rich cultural environment where artists can develop their practice and work with the community to further the artistic strengths of the Inner West of Sydney.

Since 2003, artists from across Australia and around the world have participated in this unique opportunity. Painters, poets, sculptors, dancers, filmmakers, puppeteers and songwriters have spent time in Ashfield through the program, contributing to the area's vibrant creative community.
