Artist statement

Glitterati celebrates the vibrancy, creativity, and unity of the LGBTQIA+ community in Sydney’s Inner West. Transforming the Newtown ArtSeat into a shimmering Progress Pride flag. Featuring over 260 portraits of diverse individuals, performers, and local icons, who embody the dynamic spirit and strength of our community. Glitterati honours the multifaceted nature of queer identity while encouraging connection and celebration.
