For World Aids Day, we reflect on the response to the AIDS epidemic in Australia and how community advocacy in the 1980s and '90s placed Australia as a world leader in AIDS education, prevention and treatment.

Featured in conversation is author and journalist Nick Cook, AIDS advocate Robert French and leading LGBTIQ historian Dr Shirleene Robinson.
