Mia Economou, also this months featured artist is a runner up from this years Young Creative awards, her piece Ozark Amy will be on show at Chrissie Cotter Gallery from 8 - 13 November. Mia is influenced by nature and likes to instil the sense of calm, beauty and healing in her paintings to capture the same atmosphere she experiences in nature. The work is inspired by the novel, Gone Girl. Hear more from Mia here.

A wonderful opening took place on the weekend at the Sydney Bus Museum for the GreenWay Art Prize.
