2026 applications open Friday 26 June - Friday 24 July.
We are seeking performers, food stalls, creative stalls, and community stalls.
Ready to be part of one of Sydney's biggest grassroots music festivals?
Marrickville Music Festival is a celebration of the music, creativity and culture of one of Sydney's most colourful suburbs.
We're on the hunt for bands, solo artists, DJs and performers to help soundtrack Marrickville Music Festival 2026 – a festival that puts local talent centre stage and brings more than 20,000 people into the heart of Marrickville.
The event will run on Sunday 11 October from 12pm–6pm, with successful artists performing across multiple outdoor stages, reaching new audiences and sharing the bill with some of the most exciting talent from across the Inner West.
Whether you're launching your first original set, packing out local venues or building your next tour, we want to hear from artists pushing the sound of the Inner West.
We're particularly keen to hear from artists with a connection to the Inner West – the musicians helping shape the future of Sydney's live music scene.
Not a performer? You can still be part of the festival. Applications are now open for creative stalls, community organisations and food vendors who can help bring Marrickville's unique character to life. From local makers and artists to grassroots groups and street food favourites, we're looking for stallholders who reflect the creativity, diversity and independent spirit that make Marrickville Music Festival one of Sydney's most loved community events.
