WhereWeAre Youth Dance Workshops

Youth Contemporary Dance Workshops by Miki Leigh Rol, Ashleigh Furniss and India Stewart-Williams.

The WhereWeAre Youth Workshops are for kids and young people who are curious about the world and where they may fit in it.

These two, three-hour, Sunday workshops will introduce the basics of improvisation and movement creation through self-trust and team communication exercises. The workshops are built upon 3 Core Values: Confidence, Community and Courage.

  • Sunday 15 March: pre-professional and emerging dancers
  • Sunday 29 March: 12-16 years

Students will also get the rare opportunity to learn professional performance repertoire by choreographers and cast members of the WhereWeAre Triple Bill.

Contemporary dance is an undefinable and revolutionary genre of dance that consists of collaborative choreographic methods that have been adopted worldwide.
