Just like the rest of our bodies, our voices can lose strength if we’re not using them as much. In retirement, many people find they’re speaking less often, and over time, the voice can become quiet, raspy, or tire more easily.
Voice Gym is a welcoming small-group session for men and women in retirement who want to feel stronger, clearer, and more confident using their voice.
Together we’ll do science-based voice strengthening exercises, simple calling activities, and light shared sound in a relaxed, fun and supportive space. Voice Gym is a practical and encouraging way to keep your voice active and confident.
No singing experience needed. This is not a choir, but light hearted singing may be involved (come on, it's good for you!).
Seated and accessible.
Led by Madeleine Swan, a singer and speech pathologist with specialist training in voice.
Sessions are held on the first and third Friday of each month from 2-3pm at the Little BIG House in Summer Hill.
$15 per session. Book online or pay at the door.
Please RSVP (via online booking or email hello@voiced.au) to reserve your place.
Feel free to reach out to Maddy with any questions.
