Make a pocket sized quilt with no rules, no measuring, no patterns, just fabric, colour and your own instincts.
Inspired by traditional “crazy quilts,” this workshop is about experimenting with composition and texture, mixing hand and machine stitching to make something small but genuinely yours.
Bring 2-3 special fabric pieces if you’d like, an old t-shirt, a flannel shirt, a pillowcase, or fabric tied to your own background, and we’ll supply the rest. Led by Sydney based textile artist Amelia Skelton, whose work explores people and the objects they hold onto.
For ages 15-25.
