Saturday acoustic jam

A social, informal session for adults who already play an instrument but want to learn how to play with other people.

Not a lesson, not a performance – just a small group listening, responding and making music together in real time.

Led by Nick Gell, a Sydney-based musician and performer who regularly hosts and MCs events across the Inner West. The focus is on the skills that make group playing work: dynamics, space, timing and trust.

All acoustic instruments welcome. Book in for one session or come regularly – no ongoing commitment required.

$35 per session.

Held at The Place, a creative studio at 12 Victoria St, Lewisham, near the station, where working artists and musicians share what they do with adults directly: not a school, not a lesson.
