Primary school clowning and physical comedy

A playful school holiday taster in physical comedy: clowning, mime and the kind of silliness that takes real skill to pull off.

Led by Owen Little, a Sydney-based physical theatre performer, this one-off session gives kids a hands-on introduction to the discipline behind the fun: timing, expression and working as a group.

No experience needed, just a willingness to be ridiculous. Small groups, practitioner-led. Ages 8 to 12.

Held at The Place, a creative studio at 12 Victoria St, Lewisham, near the station.

The Place is run by working artists and performers who share their craft directly with kids, teens and adults – not a school, not an education provider. This session also previews a five-week Term 3 module starting Monday 20 July for families who want to continue. Current Working With Children Check held.
