Opening of the new Mackey Park sporting amenities

Inner West Council has delivered a new $2.9 million amenities building at Mackey Park in Marrickville.

This follows the major $2 million upgrade we completed to the sporting ground at Mackey Park in 2025.

These works will deliver a fully upgraded sporting facility for local clubs including Marrickville Football Club and Marrickville Cricket Club.

The new amenities building includes:

• New public toilets, an accessible toilet, and baby change facilities
• A new canteen and enclosed BBQ area
• Change rooms with shower and toilet facilities for home and away clubs
• Storage areas, meeting rooms and office spaces for local clubs
• An upgraded pocket park, paths and landscaping
