Take a step back through rugby league history with a visit to the Inner West Council Rugby Museum, located just next to the Leichhardt Oval. Open during the event, the museum showcases memorabilia, photographs and stories celebrating the rich sporting heritage of the Inner West and the legends who have shaped the game.

Make sure you stop by the Wests Tigers activation zone, where you can meet club mascots Tina and Timmy, snap a photo, and join in a range of fun ball games and activities for all ages. Whether you're a lifelong Tigers fan or just looking for some family-friendly entertainment, there's plenty of fun for everyone to enjoy!

Refusal of Entry 

Leichhardt Oval management reserves the right to: 

-             Refuse entry to any persons deemed to be intoxicated and/or disorderly; 

-             Refuse entry to any unauthorised persons including anyone who has been issued with a current banning notice; 

-             Refuse entry of items which are prohibited items or have the potential to cause injury or public nuisance  

-             Refuse entry to a person who purchases an event ticket from an unauthorised source or from a ticket scalper 

General Conditions  

-             Leichhardt Oval reserves the right to inspect/search bags of all persons who enter or exit the stadium including inspection of bags and packages and wanding and pat down searches. 

-             Persons gaining unauthorised access to Leichhardt Oval may be liable for prosecution. 

-             Patrons who cause a disturbance, or refuse to comply with requests made by Leichhardt Oval staff will be evicted by Leichhardt Oval. 

-             A patron must not attempt to conceal their identity at the point of entry or while inside the oval. Leichhardt Oval respects cultural differences and medical conditions, but reserves the right to either refuse entry, or remove anyone who covers their face. 

-             Any person who attempts entry or is found to have entered the oval after being issued with a current banning notice will be subject to prosecution and possible further penalties. 

-             Alcoholic beverages cannot be taken into or from Leichhardt Oval by patrons. 

-             Smoking, including E-cigarettes, is not permitted at Leichhardt Oval in spectator areas or within 10 metres of any entry point. Pass Outs are available. 

-             Customers wishing to bring personal items into Leichhardt Oval do so at their own risk. Leichhardt Oval will not be held responsible for any damages to, loss or theft of a patrons personal property. 

-             For safety reasons, strollers and prams are not permitted into the Leichhardt Oval’s Hill and Seating areas and on the concourse only. 

-             Customers are not permitted to throw any objects around or within the Leichhardt Oval seating areas. 

-             Patrons wearing or otherwise displaying inappropriate or unauthorised commercial, political, religious or other offensive images, logos etc. may be denied entry into the oval or asked to remove such items prior to entering or whilst in the venue. 

-             Individuals found to be engaging in unauthorised promotional or commercial activities in and adjacent to the oval will be requested to immediately cease such activity. 

-             All patrons consent to monitoring by closed circuit television 

-             By entering Leichhardt Oval, you consent to having your image filmed and photographed; and that image may be used subject to the full discretion of the Hirer or Leichhardt Oval. 

-             Management and authorised representatives have the right to remove patrons, remove and confiscate any other item deemed to be a potential risk to the safety or comfort of patrons visiting Leichhardt Oval 

-             Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an accompanying adult or guardian at all times 

-             Patrons who refuse to comply with reasonable requests or cause a disturbance will be removed from Leichhardt Oval  

Restricted/Prohibited Items 

The following restricted/prohibited items are not permitted into Leichhardt Oval 

-             Glass or metal containers including cans; 

-             Alcoholic beverages 

-             Flares, fireworks, weapons, explosives or smoke bombs; 

-             Illicit Drugs and Illegal substances; 

-             Laser pointers, Knives or other dangerous weapons; 

-             Cameras and Recording devices (for commercial purposes) including tripods; 

-             Commercial food, including delivered takeaway fast food  

-             Poles, including extendable flag poles and/or flag poles of more than 1.4 metres in length; 

-             Oversized banners and flags which are deemed to cause public nuisance. Specific conditions may apply for some events regarding the entry of flagpoles, flags, and banners; 

-             Whistles, hooters and horns, drums and any other noise making items not previously approved by the venue; 

-             Confetti or shredded paper or any other item intended as a projectile; 

-             Scooters, roller skates, skateboards and push bikes; 

-             Eskies and bags of larger dimensions than 35cm in height, 20cm in width and 30cm in length (ie too large to be stored under a seat) 

-             Dogs and other animals, excluding guide dogs or other assistance animals 

-             Other items as determined by the Venue Management which may cause injury or present a public nuisance to any user of the venue 

Responsible Consumption of Alcohol  

Leichhardt Oval practices the responsible service of Alcohol. All persons entering Leichhardt Oval are advised that:  

(a) they are entering a licensed premises;  

(b) persons identified as being intoxicated will not be permitted to enter;  

(c) persons found in possession of liquor will not be permitted to enter;  

(d) persons identified as being intoxicated will be removed from the premises;  

(e) it is an offence for minors to purchase and consume liquor;  

(f) it is an offence to purchase liquor for (or supply liquor to) minors or persons intoxicated;  

(g) persons supplying liquor to minors will be reported to the Police; and  

(h) penalties and fines may apply under the relevant State’s Liquor legislation.  

On Saturday 19 September 2026, Leichhardt Oval will host a community event from 12.30pm to 6.30pm, with event bump-in and bump-out activities taking place between 6.00am and midnight, increased pedestrian activity and traffic in the area, limited car park access, and the Mary Street vehicle entrance closed from 11.30am to 7.00pm. Please note, no special event parking restrictions will be in place. 

Will Companion Cards be accepted?

Yes. Patrons with a valid Companion Card can access a complimentary ticket for their companion. Please present your Companion Card at the event.

What accessibility provisions are available at the event?

A dedicated raised accessible viewing area will be available near the southern goal posts at Leichhardt Oval. Accessible matting will also be installed from the entry point, down the vehicle ramp and onto the field towards the stage to support wheelchair access.

Please note that the matting is at ground level and crowd conditions on the field may affect sightlines. Patrons seeking the best visibility may prefer to use the accessible viewing area, which offers clearer sightlines but is located further from the stage.

Yes. You are welcome to bring your own food; however, commercial quantities of food are not permitted. Small snacks for children are fine. Please note that a range of food and beverage outlets will be available at the event.

Yes. You are welcome to bring a chair or picnic rug. Please be mindful of where you place them and ensure they do not block pathways, viewing areas or emergency access routes. Some areas will be designated standing-only zones. Grandstand seating will also be available. And no chairs will be allowed onto the oval section, only picnic rugs. 

Yes. Re-entry is permitted. Please ensure to gain a stamp on the way out. 

Yes. A limited number of accessible parking spaces are available in the Leichhardt Oval car park and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Patrons requiring accessible parking are encouraged to arrive early. If the accessible parking area reaches capacity, alternative accessible parking options may be available nearby.

No. Outside alcohol is not permitted. A licensed bar will be operating on site with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

Only registered assistance animals are permitted within the event site.

No. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated smoking areas and are not allowed in the main event spaces.

Yes. Prams are welcome at the event on the concourse. Please note for safety reasons prams are not permitted on the hill, on the oval or in the grandstand. A designated pram parking area will be available near the main event site for your convenience. Please note that pram parking is not staffed. 

Yes. We encourage patrons to bring a reusable water bottle. Free water refill stations will be available throughout the venue. Please note that glass bottles and containers are not permitted.

Small personal umbrellas are permitted; however, large beach umbrellas, marquees and shade structures are not allowed as they can obstruct sightlines and pedestrian access.

Children aged 2 years and under receive free entry and do not require a ticket. All attendees aged 3 years and over must hold a valid ticket for entry.
