Celebrate creativity, connection and community in this relaxed hand-sewing workshop created for Sydney Craft Week. Together we'll stitch a whimsical fabric friend using colourful textiles, felt, buttons, beads, trims and embroidery, with plenty of room to make your creation uniquely yours.
This workshop is about much more than sewing. It's about slowing down, sharing stories, meeting new people and experiencing the joy of making alongside others. Whether you come with a friend or arrive on your own, you'll be welcomed into a warm, supportive space where conversation flows as easily as the thread through the needle.
No previous sewing experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to have a go. All materials are provided. By the end of the session, you'll head home with a handmade fabric companion and, hopefully, a few new connections too. Because sometimes the best things we make aren't just what we create with our hands, but the community we stitch together along the way.
