Make a Comic Book – Kids

A hands-on comic-making taster where kids invent their own characters and start building a story around them, drawing and putting together their own comic book page.

Led by Kieran Clancy-Lowe, a practising visual artist and actor, the session focuses on the real creative process: coming up with ideas, making decisions, working through problems. Ages 8–12. No art experience needed. $30 per session, small groups.

Held at The Place, a creative studio at 12 Victoria Street, Lewisham, near the station, where working artists and specialists share their craft with kids, teens and adults. This taster previews a five-week Term 3 module beginning Wednesday 22 July, where students complete a full comic by week five. Current Working With Children Check held.
