Introduction to Café Skills

This is a free eight-week TAFE training course in café skills for LGBTQ+ youth aged 16 to 25 who have left school, teaching barista skills, café skills and employability skills (e.g. writing a resume and cover letter).

It runs from 6 August to 24 September 2026, every Thursday from 10am to 2:30pm.

To be eligible you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder.
