Celebrate the Lunar New Year with a hands-on floral lantern workshop led by Camie Fleur, a Sydney-based circular floral design studio. Each participant will design and take home their own silk-flower lantern, inspired by traditional Lunar New Year motifs and colours, using Camie Fleur's reusable, sustainably-sourced floral materials.
No floristry experience is needed – all materials and tools are supplied, and our florists will guide you through each step. This workshop is designed to be a warm, community-focused celebration of the season, welcoming individuals, friends and families alike.
This is intended as a recurring seasonal offering, with future sessions planned around the Mid-Autumn (Moon) Festival later in the year. Follow Camie Fleur for details on upcoming dates.
Light refreshments will be available, and the workshop is held in the heritage Balmain Rowing Club boathouse hall, right on the water at Elkington Park.
