5k SCADaddle for Research

We're walking on the Bay Run to raise money for medical research into SCAD heart attacks.
Register to walk, skip or run 5km with family and friends to help us beat SCAD Heart Attacks! We’re raising money for ground-breaking Australian Medical Research into SCAD, to find answers and to save lives. Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) is a cause of sudden heart attack or cardiac arrest in often healthy, fit adults with no risk factors for heart disease. The average age of sufferers is just 42 and 80% are women. This year marks 10 years of these major fundraisers, and we’ll be walking on the weekend of the 24th-25th October in locations right across Australia! We’ll be walking in FNQ, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Terrigal, Sydney, Cronulla. Camden, Nowra, Canberra, Melbourne, Launceston, Hobart, Adelaide and Perth or walk in your own area anytime in October. Thanks to a generous QANTAS Side-by-Side grant, the first 400 adult walkers to register will receive a complimentary SCAD T-shirt. Donations are tax deductible and we’re a volunteer-led charity so every dollar makes a difference.
