The Inner West Sustainability Hub provides resources, services and information from sustainability focused organisations, with the aim to empower Inner West residents to take sustainable action and have a positive impact on the environment.

Music in the Garden

When: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Saturday, 28 March, 2026

Where: Sustainability Hub Garden

What: Anna Smyrk, indie folk musician is touring community gardens around Australia in 2026. With a voice described as 'truly astonishing' by Rolling Stone, Anna is visiting the Inner West Sustainability Hub for a special pop-up performance.  This free, all-ages event brings together music, sustainability and community. Bring along a cushion, rug or folding chair to the garden to hear some great original live music.

Who's at the Hub

The Green Living Centre runs regular workshops and events to support the community to reduce their environmental impact. Our experienced staff work with local people and organisations to provide practical tips and skills to support sustainable living.

An environmental charity offering programs and services to promote repair and reuse.

The Bower Boutique shop which houses our highest quality vintage goods is open 10am-2pm Monday, 10am-5pm Wednesday, Friday, Saturday.

Our Second Life Electronics Program is giving new life to pre-loved electronic, electrical and photographic appliances. We accept donations Wednesday's 2pm-6pm.

Bower Bikes is open for bike repairs Wednesday to Saturday 12pm-4pm (by appointment only). Free bike tune ups are offered in collaboration with the Inner West Green Living Centre on alternate Saturdays (by appointment only).

Support Re Place's circular economy program diverting clothing and textiles from landfill.

Clothing Reuse and Recycling Drop Off - Wednesdays 2pm to 6pm

Divert your reusable and unusable clothes and textiles from landfill by dropping them off for reuse, repurposing or recycling.
Please check the website for details on accepted items.

Preloved Clothes Warehouse - all items under $20

Shop sustainably from racks and racks of high-quality items recovered by the community, rescued from TV sets and re-routed from charity collection overflow. 

New current opening hours :

  • Wednesdays: 10am to 6pm
  • Thursdays: 2pm to 5pm
  • Fridays: 10am to 5pm
  • Saturdays: 10am to 4pm
  • Sundays: Closed

Replace Inner West

A NGO that empowers women to thrive in work and life. Personal styling and career development tools available free of charge to any woman that needs it.

Open for clothes donations on Monday (10am to 2pm) and Saturdays (10am to 12pm).

You can now charge your electric vehicle while you explore what's on at the Inner West Sustainability Hub, with four spots including an accessible spot. A Plug 2 charging cord is available on-site. 

EV Charging Stations are open:

  • Monday to Saturday:  8am to 5:30pm
  • Sunday and Public Holidays: Closed

Please note that once the gates to the Hub have closed, public access is prohibited. If you have not retrieved your vehicle from the charging bay, you may be unable to access your vehicle until the following day's opening hours.
