Rules for shopping trolleys and share bikes
Shopping trolleys, bikes and other shared service items abandoned in public areas can become damaged or discarded, blocking footpaths, parks and can harm the environment if they end up in drains or waterways.
To address this issue, the NSW Government has introduced new laws that place clear responsibility on shared-service operators to quickly remove their items from public land and manage them appropriately.
