Haberfield Centre and Library is now open after major renovations. The entire building is now fully accessible.
The original art school building has been restored and there is now a brand-new community hall available to hire alongside the completely refurbished Michael Maher community space.
If you want to work or study at the library there are more workspaces, WiFi throughout and eight new meeting rooms for hire.
The children's library is now easily accessible for prams and there is an enclosed veranda and garden for work and play.
The collection has been updated and there is a new bilingual picture book collection (Italian and English), a wider DVD selection and a new toy and robot collection.
The library’s regular programs and events are running again and to celebrate the opening there is a month of extra programs and events.
