Haberfield Centre and Library is open after major renovations and the result is a brighter, lighter space to work, study and meet.
The collection has been updated to suit Haberfield's diverse and unique community. Our collections team has added a bilingual picture book collection (Italian and English), a wider DVD selection and a new toy and robot collection.
If you are working or studying, the library has plenty of seating and work benches, including outside on the sunny verandah.
Two large community rooms with A/V technology are available for meet-ups, events or private functions and there are two new bookable meeting rooms with fast Wi-Fi and A/V.
The addition of a ramp, a lift and accessible toilet ensures that everyone can enjoy this community hub.
Programs and events are back!
To celebrate the reopening there are special events and programs throughout May and June. We kick off with a day of family friendly activities on Saturday, 22 May.

Storytime - Tuesdays at 10.30am. From 25 May.
Book Buddies - Wednesdays at 10.30am. From 26 May.
Family Tales - Saturdays at 10.30am. From 5 June.
