What's On Inner West

Friday 30 August 2024

Culture X is back on Sunday 8 September

Three separate photos of artists: A person with hand-drum along with a harpist and a person playing a two-string wooden string instrument.

A cross-cultural music festival like no other, Culture X is back like never before: taking over Hercules Street and Fox's Lane for an action-packed street party!

The main stage on Hercules Street will be lit up by globe-trotting electronic jazz trio Brekky Boy, floor-shaking Bare Necessities Collective, and big-riffing Worlds Collide.

Meanwhile, the caravan stage at Fox's Lane will be a more intimate affair – with roving surprises and diverse music ranging from gypsy jazz and string quartet through to an Arab-inflenced guitar rock finale.

In between the action, wander the nearby streets of Ashfield for a quiet drink or some of Sydney's best dumplings.

It all happens on Sunday 8 September from 12pm to 6pm. Entry is free and all ages are welcome. Don't miss it!
