Celebrating Mardi Gras

Crowd of smiling people outdoors on picnic blankets
This Saturday 2 March, our free outdoor Mardi Gras Parade screening returns to Camperdown Memorial Rest Park!

Pack a picnic, bring your friends and family and join us from 5pm to celebrate all the glitz, glamour and joy of the parade with your Inner West community.

Mardi Gras is also a time for support and reflection. As our community mourns the tragic deaths of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies this month, we invite you to join us in a minute of silence at our event.

Our Lunar New Year calendar of events wrap up this weekend at a massive community celebration in Ashfield on 2 March from 12pm.

On 7 March, we're gearing up for International Woman's Day with a stimulating night of entertainment and talks at Marrickville Town Hall, and a month-long exhibition at Leichhardt Library from 1 to 26 March.

There's lots more to see and do in our What's On calendar.
